What kind of good samaritan picks up someone with a bullet in their head??? I’d just stay there with them and call 911.
That didn’t strike me as weird - it’s a rural area. You’d call 911 and start driving towards the hospital. Report said they met the ambulance on the road. If he could walk and talk, it wouldn’t make sense to just stay there and walk. It’s not like here where they can be there in five minutes.
