I believe St John's will not be as dominant as many have suggested due to their top midfielder recently having an injury and surgery-- and most likely will not be available until late April. (If at all) Their other top midfielder left the school over the summer, and their goalie will return, but he was also considering a transfer. Also, STC will have a target on them. It will be interesting on how STC handles being the top, hot team.
That is too bad a kid transferred out for his senior season.
As for the other kid who is having surgery, hopefully he can make his back for his senior campaign. You hate to see any player miss his final season of HS ball.
Either way, sounds like some losses in the midfield for SJC but I expect them to still be very good.
You bring up a very good point about the mental pressures of now being the HUNTED and having a target on your back.
