Seems Arlington parents are pretty confident going into next year. That's great but do any of you really think you are on the same level as Loudoun?
I firmly stick by my feelings about FCV. The only thing that could change that is if the play-ups come back on age and we all know that is not going to happen.
VDA is the only big question as to what kind of player pool they were able to get, I honestly don't know but they usually have strong teams moving into 11v11.
As for Maryland, Pipeline took the top Baltimore Union Players and the best Celtic players went to Baltimore Armour. So yes, Celtic Union GA is going to struggle. Baltimore Armour will be the top GA team in the DMV.
Metro will be middle of the pack, again, pending the current '09 play-ups. If those players do not play on age, Metro could very well be below FCV. Great Falls did not have a great season and I do not know how many are making the change to Metro or moving to other Clubs.
Prediction:
1. Loudoun ECNL
2. Bethesda ECNL
3. Virginia Union ECNL (McLean)
4. Pipeline ECNL
5. VDA ECNL
6. Baltimore Armour GA
7. Arlington ECNL
8. Coppermine Premier
9. VYS
10. PPA Green
11. MD United ECNL
12. Metro United GA
13. Loudoun Red
14. FC Virginia GA
15. Celtic Union GA
Feel free to post your own prediction.

Arlington is clearly the best 09 team in the DMV
1. Loudoun
2. Bethesda
3. Arlington
4. McLean
5. Maryland United
1. Loudoun
2. Bethesda
3. Mclean
4. PPA
5. Arlington
5. Metro
Metro??!! You lost me there, metro 09 sucks. Like the bad news bears.
Have you seen any of these teams play this year? Probably not so you don’t know what you are talking about.
take PPA and Metro off the list and those will be the top teams, not necessarily in that order though!

More likely a Bethesda dad.

Isn't arlington an entirely new team? I know of three players who are new to the club this year. I think they need more time to gel.
The 09 Arlington ECNL played together over the summer in Super Y. They actually won the 2008 age group playing a year up. Unfortunately for the previous poster(s), it looks like VDA could be a lot better than they think.
