I thought about it and made a few changes to reflect my thinking:

Let's stop engaging with this person who is clearly making fun of catastrophic parenting only concerned about their well-being and thankful of the success to NOT open schools like so many other places have done in a responsible manner.

So you thought about it and turned your coherent statement into an incoherent one?

SAHM now but former teacher. Teachers aren’t teaching less, it’s the same amount of instruction time.

Teachers do technically have more time now because they are no longer walking kids to special, walking kids to lunch, on recess duty, helping kids pack up for dismissal, taking kids to the bathroom etc. A good chunk of an in-person school day is transitions and breaks.

Just wanted to add that. Some of the attacks are warranted but others are just unfair.

I don't think schools should be closed, but teachers should not be under attack.

I reported it. The level of teacher bashing was disgusting

Really? It seemed like a very important development to discuss. Would have made more sense to censor individual posts than the entire thread. Also, I didn't think the teacher bashing was worse than on other threads. It's going on all the time.

It is an important development to discuss. It can be done without calling people names. I actually report all posts that contain any kind of bashing. I’ll have to look at some more threads, I’ve been off DCUM for the holidays.

You need a job.

No kidding.

Don’t need one. HHI is high six figures with my husband working. Ive got all day to report bashing.

We didn’t mean you need one for financial reasons.

Not very bright, is she?

Oh no! An anonymous poster on DCUM doesn’t think I’m smart. What shall I do? I guess I’ll go cry in my indoor pool. It will collect my tears so others don’t see them.

Agree. She's sad, desperate, bored, stupid and crazy.

Hi I’m back and just so you know....I’m not a female. It’s sad how you all assumed I was and made terrible comments about me (see above). Maybe you should check your assumptions.

This is the most boring kind of troll.

She's a WTU member getting full pay and benefits while teaching a fraction of the time she used to in person. Funny how there are so many more teachers on DCUM now that they're not really working full time.

Teachers get bored with all their free time.
