This!
I can’t stop rewatching those scenes.
I rewatched his scene with the spoon. You know.. for research purposes.
Okay, I watched the whole series, but had it on while I was doing other things. I missed the spoon scene. What episode was that? Can someone give me a summary? I keep reading about it and I don’t want to have to rewatch the whole thing.
Episode 3 in the first 10mins.

Haha that’s the only reason I’m still watching. And I like the Bridgerton family’s interactions with each other. I can’t stand Daphne and she looks like a small child with the Duke which I find gross. But he is GORGEOUS!
Oh, no, but he is so damaged! He grew up without love... but with all the money can buy, a poor little orphan. The problem is how come they don't make him more like a real, compelling character? I finished the long episode 3, or 4, can't remember and he is so shallow, as is she. Sorry, but somehow other authors make rich dukes more compelling! Plus, all aristocrats grew up mostly without their parents during that time. It takes some skill to make a regency romance this boring!
I think it takes more skill to be bored and to find fault with trash tv. You watch for eye candy. Not to nitpick a shallow story.
Normally, yes, I do too. But, when you can't get through it despite that much eye candy??

Thank you! I can't understand the bevy of posters that liked this crap! And I love, love, love Pride and Prejudice.
There are plenty of popular shows that are akin to watching paint dry. They're still crazy popular. The Office is one such example.
Something out there for everyone, you know?
For me, this show is like watching paint dry. From all the romance novels, this is the one they do?! But, Cobra Kai is back on, so....
I think I was just so disappointed. I dislike the books, but I thought surely the show will be more interesting. I am a fan of British period pieces, but I realize now that this is just too slow for my taste and too insipid.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:So no Asian actors in this color blind show???
Lots of South Asians, which would make sense since most of the British colonial possessions were in Africa or South Asia, not the Far East.
Everything the English controlled in South Asia was under the control of a company, not the British Crown. It’s another 30 years before the company transfers it to the British government.
