So rejecting every single one until you’re actually ready to get married is a pretty normal way to give yourself more time. He’s not ready. He likes being the eligible bachelor at the moment.
Yep, and like here, an older rich man can bag a younger woman. Not saying he’s old. But he’s not like some middle class Indian guy trying to go through some version of an arranged marriage. For that man, if he waits too long, all the “good” women will be taken.

They’re not dolls. They’re deities in his families prayer space. Different outfits is the norm in Mandirs (temples) but not usually at home. But they’re super rich and basically have a mini Mandir in their home.

So, how does Sima's pay structure work? Because this seems like a massive waste of time and effort for her if someone isn't serious about moving forward. If not getting paid hourly for your labor, I would dump a client like this. Sh*t or get off the pot.

I think Aparna having the smallest house on the block is incredibly smart and financially savvy. She travels a lot, who needs a big house to take care of and a fancy kitchen when she doesn’t even cook.
She’s got a house that someone’s willing to pay a lot of money for to build a big house on. Or later down the road, she may just tear it down and build a new home to her liking.
Clearly that neighborhood is turning over and streets like that are where the land is worth more than the house. And she owns that land.

You are deluded. Of course she makes over 6 figured - she said she is GC of an insurance company. Her house wasn’t my taste, BUT I am impressed she owns a home as a busy single professional and likely wouldn’t want anything larger because of added maintenance responsibilities. I think one of her set ups nailed her personality - she is probably fiercely loyal to her small network of family and friends and I had no difficulty seeing why she has close friends. Man, people are critical here. Aparna summed it best when she said she isn’t bothered by rejection, because she likes herself. Awesome attitude.
