Have already forwarded the mail, informed our tax guy we’ll be filing two states, and packed up the SUV.
MoCo, DC and Arlington local “leaders” can keep doubling down in their insanity.

We added 5 deaths, bringing our 7-day avg to 4.86.
Our positivity rate is 8.93%; MD’s state positivity rate is 6.94%
And.. it's up again today.
7 more deaths
1.4% increase in confirmed cases compared to 0.5% increase the day before.

Same. We'll stay in this area until the summer's over, then we're moving for a year for school.

Half our neighborhood has left for long trips or stints elsewhere.

Why?
Because Hogan isn’t instituting Phase 3 until then. You can see it here on page 28 of MD’s recovery plan: https://governor.maryland.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/MD_Strong.pdf
It's going to be more complicated than that. Hogan seems to be suggesting that we'll a gradual reduction of restrictions as we go through the stages. I fully expect, for example, that we'll see libraries reopen with mask requirements and capacity restrictions. And aren't we already doing that with pools in other parts of the state?
At least curbside pickup could be available for libraries. If I can pick up a bag of takeout, I can pick up a bag of books. Jeepers.
Another example of Elrich’s idiotic, non-sensical decisions. It’s like he wants to inflict maximum pain on the low-income and the kids. I somehow thought as a progressive he wanted to protect these populations but he seems intent on destroying them. Once again, he seems as insane as Donald Trump.
MoCo fails again. Other counties in MD have curb-side library service. You reserve a book by placing a hold in their online system, then go pick it up once it arrives. There's nothing to prevent them from doing that here. It's like it's the government culture in Montgomery County is not to be innovative at all.

This is not an airport - you don't have to announce your departure.
