Hundreds of responses justifying this horrible choice. Wow. We really, really want to find something, anything but racism to justify this woman's behavior. Got it.

Correct. MoCo should address this with the officers. There was no crime being committed here (possibly trespass if the guests weren't allowed) but it doesn't take a law degree to understand that with the situation presented the officers would need management to show up and make the complaint.

Random citizen can make a complaint but if there's no evidence of a crime the police need to go.

It boggles my mind that the police would stay on the scene over the rantings of some ancient nutbar with an axe to grind.

One report said that the woman who called was on the HOA board, so not a random citizen.

If people won’t leave when they’ve been asked to leave a place they are not supposed to be, it’s not out of line to call the police.

An HOA member who can't provide the rules to them cops.

Yes it's stupid to call cops to manage your HOA rules.

+1.

You call the cops when you feel the need to call the cops.

The End.

And some jurisdictions are passing a law that you will be charged it the call was for no good reason.

Not if the owner had not made the proper advance arrangements for a party. If permission has not been granted for a party, then they do not have the right to be there.

Exactly! These people just think they can do anything they want

That's a violation of the HOA rules. It is not criminal. If I don't get permission to paint my house, can you call the police and have me arrested?

A member of the HOA board doesn't have a copy of the rules?

As a guest of one of the members, they had a right to be there.

Why is this so hard to understand?

Exactly. This never ends well for the police. Are these people trespassing? Can you find anyone who wants to pursue trespassing? I.e. an agent of the condo? If the answer is no to any of these, drive off.

This!

I don't understand how these old racist ladies don't realize they aren't going to be internet famous when they pull this shit.

So, the question is was this organized and did they pay the guest fees? The woman may have been on the HOA board and knew they didn't pay. Its fine to hold a party with permission but that wasn't exactly a small gathering if there were 12 kids. It is one thing to bring another family with 1-3 or so kids but 12 kids plus parents is easily another 30+ people.

I think both are racist. This woman was clearly looking to make a race war with how many times she brought up race. Racism goes both ways. She was looking for a fight, she was looking for attention and it didn't even seem from her profile that she lived there. The other woman may have just asked if they paid their party fees, and the answer was no and the argument started. She may have asked them to leave or pay the fee, they refused. We don't really know what happened so to call her racist without knowing the entire story when the woman posting is also clearly racist is unfair. What is the back story here?

That's called an argument and condo/HOA rules, not a crime. You don't call the police for that. They aren't your personal grievance squad.

1. There was obviously no one endangered, no drama, no ill will toward the group until one woman had an issue with them.

2. There is no evidence that the unit owner hadn’t made arrangements with building/pool managers.

3. The woman who called police did not have a copy of the bylaws.

Sad sad world we live in.

Interesting. I think it's funny how many on this post want to make up facts to absolve the pool crashers of any accountability.

The danger was having so many children at the pool at the same time without lifeguards. It is unclear how many adults were present with the kids and whether any of them had lifeguard training.

There is no evidence that the condo owners had made any arrangements with the HOA to invite so many children to the pool area at one time.
