Correct. MoCo should address this with the officers. There was no crime being committed here (possibly trespass if the guests weren't allowed) but it doesn't take a law degree to understand that with the situation presented the officers would need management to show up and make the complaint.
Random citizen can make a complaint but if there's no evidence of a crime the police need to go.
It boggles my mind that the police would stay on the scene over the rantings of some ancient nutbar with an axe to grind.
One report said that the woman who called was on the HOA board, so not a random citizen.
If people won’t leave when they’ve been asked to leave a place they are not supposed to be, it’s not out of line to call the police.

+1.
You call the cops when you feel the need to call the cops.
The End.

Not if the owner had not made the proper advance arrangements for a party. If permission has not been granted for a party, then they do not have the right to be there.

Exactly. This never ends well for the police. Are these people trespassing? Can you find anyone who wants to pursue trespassing? I.e. an agent of the condo? If the answer is no to any of these, drive off.

I don't understand how these old racist ladies don't realize they aren't going to be internet famous when they pull this shit.
So, the question is was this organized and did they pay the guest fees? The woman may have been on the HOA board and knew they didn't pay. Its fine to hold a party with permission but that wasn't exactly a small gathering if there were 12 kids. It is one thing to bring another family with 1-3 or so kids but 12 kids plus parents is easily another 30+ people.
I think both are racist. This woman was clearly looking to make a race war with how many times she brought up race. Racism goes both ways. She was looking for a fight, she was looking for attention and it didn't even seem from her profile that she lived there. The other woman may have just asked if they paid their party fees, and the answer was no and the argument started. She may have asked them to leave or pay the fee, they refused. We don't really know what happened so to call her racist without knowing the entire story when the woman posting is also clearly racist is unfair. What is the back story here?

Anonymous wrote:Funny how so many on this post are finding reasons to justify the calling of police.
1. There was obviously no one endangered, no drama, no ill will toward the group until one woman had an issue with them.
2. There is no evidence that the unit owner hadn’t made arrangements with building/pool managers.
3. The woman who called police did not have a copy of the bylaws.
Sad sad world we live in.
