She's a total phony - a comfortably middle class suburban girl pretending to be poor.

She has lived in a FREE Bronx apartment (fully paid off, she inherited from late dad) since college. Then she chooses a $2000+ per month apt in D.C. when there are cheap alternatives in more diverse neighborhoods.

She's not simply naive--she's stupid and incompetent.

An intelligent Progressive would not have driven Amazon out of Long Island City entirely as AOC and her comrades did.

An intelligent Progressive would have been cooperative with Amazon with the quid pro quo being trying to obtain more concessions from Amazon for workers, the community, and infrastructure--but not this ridiculous self-defeating campaign to designate Amazon as "the capitalist pig enemy who must be destroyed."

Only an idiot like AOC, and those who support her, would not have immediately realized how much of a concession Amazon was making simply to even consider locating one of its HQs in the New York City metropolitan area in the first place. NYC is already an incredibly difficult place to do business and to live, relative to many other places in the U.S., and Amazon was proposing to renovate a complete sh*thole wasteland part of NYC (Long Island City).

I am sure Bezos had his personal reasons for contemplating NYC (i.e. ego, NYC represents "the big time", etc.) but AOC and her comrades recklessly threw a tremendous opportunity away for absolutely no reason other than their own ignorance, egos, and stupidity.

AOC is a very privileged, but stupid, ignoramus who only got elected because she played up the ethnicity card against the white male incumbent in her Democrat primary.
