She is definitely not fat but is at the higher end of normal/ less than 10 lbs away from overweight so she is definitely not skinny either.

I was on a flight from Santiago to JFK about a year ago where a teen girl (in the middle seat) encroached on my leg room (I was in the window.) Her mother/father/brother (they played musical chairs the entire flight) was seated in the aisle seat next to her, yet she decided her enormous bag belonged in my leg room space.

Why does it seem like everyone in this thread has never flown a day in their life? Flying sucks. Why does it suck? Tiny seats, no personal space, lines for the tiny little scary bathroom, climbing over people to get to that horrible bathroom, screaming kids, weird smells, bad food, bad drinks, security check points, getting there early, delayed flights, no personal space, no personal space, no personal space, no space for your bags, tiny seats, tiny seats, tiny seats. If you're sitting near an overweight person, bad luck, oh well, your flight was going to be freaking terrible anyway. ^^^^^

This is why first class & business class exist.

Good Lord. Even though this woman may not be skinny, there is no way she is spilling over into the seats next to her and making others physically uncomfortable.

And a lot of salads are NOT healthy & are, in fact, higher in calories & fat than many other meals (including meals like burgers & fries, pizza, etc). Taco salads, Cesar salads, chef salads, random gigantic meal sized salads with tons of cheese, croutons, non lean meat, &/or full fat dressing...all packed with calories.
