Translation: NL has a problem where coaches don't show up for games.
Long time NL parent. 2 kids. This is not true at all. Always has been at least 2 at each game. Lots at practice too. Box, summer, spring, fall. Plenty of coaches. No dads. Just not an issue.

There are a number, not sure if it's 50%, of coaches who have coached in the past at a clinic or 2 and may float in from time to time but they are certainly not on the roster of coaches. Monahan, Reed and Shockey jump out but they were great at the clinics they ran.
Yes, they are thin on game day and even practice coaching especially at the younger ages.

50% of the names listed have nothing to do with NL and they only list three others as head coaches. Nice try.
But if you look at each team's page, it looks like the most of the teams, particulary the middle school and high school teams, have 3 -4 coaches. With the exception of the 2024 PG team, I'm not sure I understand the complaints.

You have listed 3 of the nicest guys, who know lacrosse, and are not ass-hats. They also have some of the best assistant coaches in the DMV. Definitely a troll post or some douche-dad whose kid only made the B team.
They are good guys (though the brothers are very unsportsmanlike on the sidelines), but the PP has a point. They each are head coaches for three teams. That is not only bizarre, but not great for everyone. It is a common complaint among NL parents, not a NL B parent. You are the one who is out of touch.

My son plays on a "Blue" team and there have been multiple times when our coach couldn't make it because of conflicts. I agree that those 3 guys are good guys - they just need to hire more coaches. This is NOT new for NL, the lack of head coaches has been going on for years.

Are you insane? Daddy ball is not good in any way. If you are going to pay for club lacrosse and they offer dad coaches, find another club.

Based on what I've seen, players that are from Moco are for the most part good players. Those from PG are newer to the game and don't have as much lacrosse IQ/skills. You get better with practice BUT if you only have 1 coach, the team will NEVER get better. I've heard from many that the PG team will be made of just PG players next year because the Moco parents will NOT put up with this again. It's better to just play REC and take clinics/lessons to get better.

Also, heard that Isiah is not coaching the team in the winter and is not sure if he can coach in the spring/summer, since he will be too busy playing professional lacrosse. +1. That is what others were saying, but the NL B team dad wasn't having it. IDA is a great player and I am hoping PGLC can keep growing. There are a lot of untapped players from that area and if they can get consistent coaching, they could be something. If you saw any of their games, it was obvious most were either new to the game or hadn't gotten much coaching beforehand.
But NL's goal was just poaching the best prospects for their A teams. Their B teams weren't good to begin with and those Bethesda parents are not going to drive to PG county for any practices.
