Geez. The sponsored posts feel like part of her JOB. Like, that she does for a living. For her family. Who need to eat. These people don't have the appearance of independently wealthy, and she's a blogger for a living. She also likely had contracts in advance of this event, at least some of which she likely wants to honor, in addition to needing to pay regular and probably massively mounting medical bills. Kicking someone while they're down isn't a good look.

She has 3 kids. I assume those sponsored posts are a relevant part of her household income. Not everyone has trust funds...

Anonymous wrote:Very twisted culture we live in when a woman blames her mommy blog for her suicide attempts. What specifically was happening in this woman's life that caused her depression and anxiety.

I know she doesn't like to dwell on depressing topics too much on her blog, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what the real deal is here. Drunken hissy fit for husband's attention gone horribly wrong, maybe? Alcoholism? Is she actually a danger to herself? Because if so, she shouldn't just be right back to her regular life. Who knows though, maybe she has someone helping with the kids.
No where in her blog does she classify her suicide attempt as no big deal. In fact, if you take time to read it, she says she belongs with all the people in the psych ward where she was sent, despite her husband's claim that she didn't belong there. The way she writes is sort of glib, but there's a lot of pain in what she's writing, and in my opinion, she's putting sunlight on a very difficult issue in a hope that people might be helped by it (and I think people will be watching her like a hawk for future suicide attempts thanks to her transparency, which is also a good thing.)
DP. It doesn't seem like she has any sort of therapy, monitoring, anything.
You don’t seem to be reading her blog. Her June 28 post is all about the medications she’s taking, psychiatrist visits, group therapy and about be fact that her husband has hidden all the pills in the house in a safe place.

Anonymous wrote:OMG, those poor kids! Hope the husband seeming to be in denial does not make her less likely to get effective help. Those kids need to be shielded from this. They will spend the rest of their lives unpacking the lack of nurturing, appropriate boundaries, cross-generational responsibility, etc.
The blog seems attention seeking and voyeuristic. Whole thing is icky and profoundly sad.
