Blind stinking partisanship combined with a soupçon of treason sympathizing.

Trump’s Justice Department concluded there was reason to believe Trump’s campaign advisor was acting as a Russian agent. How can anyone say there’s nothing to the Russia investigation?

So, to make the point absolutely clear, subsequent to April 2017, Rosenstein was presented with intelligence consistent with the fact that Carter Page was continuing to act as a Russian agent. Page, who couldn’t shut up, has now gone to the mattresses.

The NY Times this morning suggested that "the memo" delves into Rosenstein and how he authorized surveillance into Carter Page in the fall of 2016. Well duh, Page was part of the campaign and was a known Russian stooge. This isn't secret, and Page has since admitted to discussing Russian sanctions and the Roseneft oil deal, so isn't this more of a smoking gun than something to cease the investigation?

Not quite right. Rosenstein didn’t authorize surveillance of Page. At the time the Trump Administration took office, Page was the subject of an outstanding FISA warrant authorized by a federal judge based on the requisite showing of probable cause. Rosenstein signed off on an application for the FISC to continue the warrant, which the Court approved. More Uranium One BS.

PS. In the Fall of 2016, Rosenstein was serving as the US Attorney in Maryland, a post he held until April 2017. He wasn’t at Main Justice approving FISA applications.

Lindsey Graham is flapping his gums. Full of sound and fury. Signifying nothing. Manchin is familiarizing himself with the ways of New York talk.

Ryan and McTurtle won’t allow the bills affording protection to the Special Counsel to come up for a vote. Mark my words.
