Change that to HRC's dishonesty is compulsive and pathological and you would be accurate.
Face it we have two candidates who both lie - Hillary does it intentionally and Trump, for the most part, does it because he has no filter between his mouth and his brain.
You give him too much credit. He is also plain dumb when it comes to political matters. I think a POTUS needs a filter, don't you? Isn't that why Biden kind of gets made fun of.. because he also sort of shoots his mouth off without thinking.
I agree with most of what you say. The issue is why he appeals so much to millions of Americans. And if you think it is racism, you are just plain wrong though I am sure that there are some who are racists. I say this because I know people who are voting for Trump and they are not racist by any stretch of the imagination. They are just disgusted with Hillary Clinton and the establishment and feel that something must be done to shake things up and they know that Hillary sure as hell will not do it.
A couple of them actually voted for Obama.
Until there is an an attempt to understand why these people find Trump appealing without attributing it to pat answers like uninformed voters and bigots, you and others will continue to be frustrated by his popularity.
But don't you think voting for someone who is not competent for the position simply for the purpose of change is dangerous? Some of his supporters are hoping that his advisers and other seasoned Repubs will reign him in, but as a POTUS, what he says on national TV and how he says it matters.
Again, I agree with you that having an uninformed person as president is unwise. I also think that having an individual like Hillary who is well informed but has terrible judgement and is dishonest to boot is also very troublesome.
I really don't know what the answer is because IMO we have two very flawed candidates. FYI, I am a Bernie supporter who has voted for Democrats forever and a day but I will not vote for Hillary.
If Trump becomes president, it will be because we presented the country with an unacceptable alternative to Trump. It is not because of racism or uninformed voters or any such thing although I am sure that Hillary supporters will blame it on those factors and on the liberals who refused to vote for her.
So by not voting for Hillary, you are actually pro trump because Sanders has nothing in common with Trump. Sanders, who has zero chance of actually implementing any of his proposals in a divided congress, wants to beat TRUMP at all cost, but his leaderless movement supporters actually support trump by stealth. So is Sanders corrupt for supporting Hillary?
Sanders can vote for anyone he wants and other Bernie supporters can vote for her if they are comfortable doing so. I will not vote for her and if you construe that as effectively voting for Trump, then that is your prerogative. I cannot in conscience vote for her and I certainly cannot vote for Trump.

Cyberspying by Russia is VERY serious. Cyberspying by the KGB? I mean, really? We're cheering this shit on? You people have lost your damn marbles if you don't see wtf is wrong with this.
You do realize that we do the very same thing with our allies and adversaries?
Are we releasing it to wiki? And are you cheering our gov't on to do so?
I say again, I love how people are loving on wikileaks now because it serves your political narrative. People lost their shit several years ago when those iraq war documents were released.

And, if Russia DOES have her emails, they got them long before today.
His comment was sarcastic and meant to cause the media’s and the liberal’s heads to explode.
It worked. And, it reminded the American people that Hillary deleted as many emails as she turned over, just in case anyone forgot.[/quote
Exactly!
The point has been made that you cannot hack a non-functional server or a server where emails have been deleted by experts. Even the FBI tried recover them and had very limited success.

It's in fact the same reasoning that led to the Nazis. They were unhappy with the way things were, so they wanted someone to shake things up. Many Germans did not believe Hitler was as bad as he seemed, they knew change was need, and the alternative was the Communists, who they thought were even worse. Were getting the same thing now - He'll change things and he's better than alternative. And he doesn't really mean any of it anyway.
As Reagan famously said.... “There you go again.”
The comparison to Hitler is ridiculous. And, the more you do it, the more people support Trump.
Yes, he is unfiltered. That will likely get better once elected. Yes, he says some things that make me cringe.
But, he speaks plainly and frankly and the American people are so damned sick of “political speak,” particularly after that past 8 years.
The fact that Trump will be at the podium for over an hour, answer all questions, and speak in a way that the average American understands is so refreshing.
This is why I am looking forward to the debates.
