Well, he's already been cremated so I suspect his autopsy and toxicology report won't be released. They quickly ruled out foul play, so there's no police investigation. He didn't have a doctor on staff pumping him with meds like MJ. Prince did this to himself. I'm sure his handlers and staff were questioned and drugs were found in the home. They'll blame Percocet, and that's fine...it likely played a role. But don't expect a big police report releasing the autopsy and toxicology report like MJ and Bobbi Kristina because there was no foul play here.

3. He became addicted to dangerous pain meds, and used crazy pain meds to self medicate. (Doctors do not prescribe dilaudid and fentanyl...those are administered in the hospital under watch.)

4. He died. We aren't exactly sure why yet, but we can guess.

This is what we know. And this is what I'm explaining to my kids as they ask questions. Ignoring the addiction teaches kids that addiction is shameful and shouldn't be discussed. It teaches them to hide it.

When you say, "Let's not tarnish his reputation," you are fostering the harmful notion that addiction is shameful and should be hidden. Bad move.

Wow. You actually don't KNOW any of the above. Why don't you wait before you make statements as facts.

It's all over the media. You can choose to keep your head in the sand if you prefer. He nearly overdosed a couple weeks ago. The flu thing was a cover. He could not have performed that night (we've seen the video) if he had the flu. You don't make an emergency landing for the early hours/stages of the flu. And he obviously wasn't in the throes of influenza when he performed. It's been leaked that he needed the narcon shot.

I didn't know waiting until autopsy was keeping head in sand. Man, you sound like you're on drugs yourself. You are super crazy about this topic. Please do share "all the media" reporting what you've stated as facts.

Perhaps. But only addicts take dilaudid and fentanyl. And they buy it on the street or pay a doctor with no ethics for the scrips. Nobody prescribes those drugs; they're administered to addicts in the hospital under observation.

What the hell are you talking about. He OD'd on Percocet. I haven't seen any mention of Dilaudid or fentanyl in connection with Prince. Are you thinking MJ?

Lots of coverage on dilaudid and fentanyl related to prince.

Do you know how much Percocet you'd need to take to od? If it were only Percocet, then the preliminary report would not have suggested it was accidental---because he would have taken more than a fistful to od. He mixed it with something else...and that's what the toxicology report will show.

And in that case, it might have been a suspected suicide?

Isn't a drug overdose suicide?

Let's be honest here. It's medical malpractice.

Once they cross the line with alcohol or pot they are far more likely to cross the next line with oxy that leads to heroin. Heroin is killing people everywhere because it is a huge business coming in from Mexico.

Wouldn't most responsible parents agree? What's your point?
