Turns out I was completely infested with parasites. Found pinworm in my son, and administered PinX. Instructions are to treat the entire family.
This morning, after taking it last night, I expelled all manner of dead worms. I looked down, and literally (and I mean it) almost passed slam out. Made my husband look, who told me to go straight back to the doctor.
Have an appointment at 3 pm. Anyone else have this experience? (FYI, I worked in villages in Africa without clean food, sanitation, but that was 9 years ago!!)

I have 2 elementary aged kids and at least twice a school year we get a letter from the school nurse about a case or outbreak in the school.
And this is an elementary of million dollar+ homes. (just to illustrate that pin worms are found endemic in ANY population).
I used to teach kindergarten. Most kids were from high income families, but most of them didn't know how to wash their hands properly.
Sad how most parents seem too busy to instill basic hygiene habits.

This was before I left on vacation. Came back from vacation and opened the lid to the toilet. OMG. Hundreds of worms. Most disgusting thing you've ever seen. Never flushed so fast in my life.
This happened to me in Arlington last summer. My kids still talk about it.
