Don't think that you can start packing on the weight and settle into your "married" figure. Attraction is both mental and physical.
Brag about the nice things your husband does to your friends.
Surprise him with morning sex/BJ.
Text him dirty pics/vids while he is at work. Guys LOVE this.
Plan a surprise night out and not just out for a boring dinner. Dinner and then a salsa club or somewhere that has lots of energy in the air.
Ask him what his fantasies are and reassure him he can speak honestly without fear of rejection or loathing. Many guys have desires they will not voice out of fear of rejection.
And guys, this list applies to you too.
I'm pretty sure my husband would hate this! Actually, he'd hate much of this. Guess the old "there's someone for everyone" thing is true.
I think my husband would rather have a root canal than a surprise date night going salsa dancing.
Ouch, I feel for you.

I have long hair and am nice. I have ambition.
I am a fatty. I am working to change that. Working out, and eating right. I haven't heard if someone was fat and then worked to change it if the attraction came back. Would you say it would, or would you always picture the fat person? Just curious. I am not making any excuses. I let myself go, and I am putting myself back together. I love my husband and I shouldn't have let it happen in the first place. Just curious on what the men's thoughts are in this situation?
Worked for me. My wife gained a bunch of weight (and chopped off her hair) after kids. The love didn't go away, but the attraction waned somewhat. She dropped a bunch of weight -- she thinks she needs to lose more, I think she's fine -- and now I pester her for sex more than she'd like.

Oh come off it. 90% of men will get with a women as long as she isn't obese and she's nice to him and acts like the sun rises on his dick. That's all men care about. They are about as simpleminded as a frog.
Men are way more complicated than you state. Men are just as complicated as women. Stop comparing them to frogs. You sound really foolish.
