He does have claws. I clip them pretty frequently and he has a scratching post he likes to use so they aren't very sharp. He has quite a bit of restraint, but he does have a limit on the amount of fur pulling he can take. Usually he will get up and walk away if it comes to that, but he is pretty tolerant for the most part.

I just watched and the cat is so gentle and loving with her. Such a love between them brings a tear to my eye.

That is so cute. One time she woke up crying because he had bathed her entire head! We certainly never dealt with cradle cap.

Our cat groomed our baby by licking her all over every time we would put her down. Changing table, bumbo, you name it. I guess she thought the baby was her kitten.

He has never been much of a kneader. Sometimes he tries to walk on her, though.

I found a video on my phone from a couple months ago. They are being cute and I am babbling like an idiot in the background, but I will post it anyway.

OP, sometimes my cat tries to knead when petting him does Baby ever do this with his baby? He always looks as though his paw is protecting her.

Today's pics are wonderful. Have you any videos with Amelia talking/giggling with kitty?0

Thanks so much for sharing both babies with everyone.

Already suggested in way back in thread as well as cat food commercial to pay for Amelia's college and Baby's retirement.

I am all for that!

OP, to answer your question about what she should wear for warmer weather naptime, have you seen these? http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12330438 We use these and love them. Also it's great that you don't have to use a blanket because it's soft breathable cotton, so no worry about getting tangled up in blankets. Just wear a onesie underneath and baby is good to go!
