During Tuesday’s hearing, Van Hollen pointed to The Atlantic’s story in arguing for oversight of Patel’s work habits.
“When your private actions make it impossible for you to perform your public duties, we have a big problem. You cannot perform those public duties if you’re incapacitated,” Van Hollen said to Patel during the hearing.
“And Director Patel, these reports about your conduct, including reports of your being so drunk and hungover that your staff had to force entry into your home, are extremely alarming. If true, they demonstrate a gross dereliction of your duty and a betrayal of public trust,” Van Hollen said at the hearing.

Patel has his priorities straight - unlike former FBI directors.
Incredible. All of their results are faked. They deeply rely on MAGA swallowing the lies no matter how outrageous
Just a sample:
"Of the six fugitives caught since Patel was sworn, four were seized within a month of the FBI leadership elevating them to the top of the Ten Most Wanted list.
Two of those four were grabbed within 24 hours of being added to the list, according to the FBI."
And the other 2 he claimed credit for were from before his tenure.

I was Kash Patel’s Sherpa on the transition. I spent nearly all day everyday with him for 3+ months and have been with him frequently since.
I have never seen the type of behavior that you’re describing from him.

Oh and by the way, it was no pressure campaign that got Kash confirmed. He did his homework, studied every brief I wrote him (and I wrote them all personally). If I sent him material at say 2am, he would respond with questions by 3am. He was always available and never hard to reach. Ultimately, he addressed any concerns senators had. He studied the law enforcement issues in each of their states and came prepared with plans, ideas, and questions for addressing the unique law enforcement needs of each state. THAT is who Kash Patel is and it’s why the FBI has been so effective in the last year.
I’ve never once seen him over drink. Not once. You are spinning that narrative because you know POTUS doesn’t view that favorably, even admitted as much in your story.
And I’m not hard to find. Pretty obvious why you didn’t reach out to me for comment.
Yeah, the big tell is this post is way too defensive. And he would respond to questions by 3 AM? GMAFB. That's trying WAY to hard. And BTW, we ALL saw him drink at the Olympics.
Yeah the whole "I've never seen him drink, not once" thing when Patel literally is in camera shotgunning beers (at an event he had no reason to be at).makes that post particularly ridiculous.

Certain federal agencies use it to fire people without violating any rules/laws. This administration is using it as a tool to harass staff they suspect of leaking information so they can punish anyone with "suspicious" results.

Polygraphs should have been made illegal a long time ago. Hardly any nations use it. Only the dumb US of A.
