They all work all over the area so I really don’t buy that. Every team complains about the refs. Ask a completely objective observer and they will usually say the calls were even for both. Some refs definitely allow more aggressive play but I have never seen where they call things grossly one sided.

Philly and Florida refs … they do seem to favor the home schools but I am biased being from Maryland.

SM versus SPSG is a toss up.

(2)McDonogh vs (7)Glenelg Country School

I'm gonna go with the following for the wins:

Maryvale
Spalding
SPSG
McDonogh

That 4v5 game is going to be good. NDP won by 6 less than a week ago, but it’s no easy feat to beat good teams twice in the IAAM. I pick Spalding in a close one due to their goalie, with the caveat that AS might not have right their wrongs yet in terms of personnel and positioning.

Only one seed is certain at this point. So much depends on outcomes today. It’s going to be interesting to see how things shake out as the scores roll in.

Very odd score, would love to know what happened.

Mcdonogh losing to RPCS might still be bigger upset.

Having seen NDP, I’d put them in top 3 in conference.

A few things, but the primary reason was the Bryn Mawr goalie played out of her mind.

Then it gets interesting

Winner of SPSG v Severn game in drivers seat

Can GCS beat SM Monday?
Can RPCS beat Spalding Monday?
Can JCS beat SPSG Monday?

And on backend, Bryn Mawr and Mercy are out.

There have been so many surprising scores this season, the only reliable team has been MVP. Everyone else has had at least one unexpected loss and/or win. And even some of the goal differences in games have been surprising. Mercy has lost by 3 to good teams. BMS lost by two to RPCS who beat McD by 2.

The frosh who play are a disaster, and too much dependence on their stellar goalie this year. If she isn’t having a good day they are in big trouble.

1 2028 that is on varsity is a huge hole. 5 wins by 1 goal last year. They got some solid players and after the big two it’s anyone’s game
