Anonymous wrote:VDA and FVU will not have enough roster spots if Arlington goes GA. There are also rumors of Bethesda being moved to GA next season.
End result will be Arlington dominating GA South with leftovers who can’t get roster spots at VDA/FVU. Same for Bethesda dominating North pending which ever other Clubs make the move (PDA and FC Delco).
Most MLS Next and GA Girls Clubs are already aligned. PDA, Bethesda and FC Dallas are probably the three most important clubs left to make the move. Arlington and FC Delco do not hold as much weight. It looks like there are around a dozen or so clubs total with Boys MLS NeXT and Girls ECNL nationwide. I actually thought it was a lot more until I researched.
Regardless, it will just level the playing field a little more but ECNL will keep the advantage by a decent margin.
What really needs to be watched is Boys MLS Next vs. ECNL. Seems these two are much closer together than the girls. If Boys ECNL can rip away some MLS NeXT teams, than ECNL Girls could hold on to the large margin of Quality players it has had since GDA.
Time will tell. I honestly think the teams mentioned above will make the move but I also think you see other MLS NeXT Clubs make the move to ECNL/ECNL.
Future forecast is GA grows a little stronger and maybe gets the college split to 60/30/10 vs. the current 70/20/10 but that will take at least 2 more years. Both ECNL and GA aren’t going anywhere, anytime in the foreseeable future.

I can't see TSJ lasting too many more years at they rate they are going. However, I don't know who would take their place.
NVA is essentially Loudoun since it's no longer a partnership with other clubs. Loudoun being part of GA is probably not needed and the current Loudoun team should probably be Aspire. Wouldn't be surprised that if adjustments aren't made for next year once Arlignton and another club join GA to replace TSJ and Loudoun.
Why, in the case of the 2011 team, they just beat NVA 2-0 and in the case of some of the other age teams, same result.
NVA needs to figure something out for the 2011 and 2010 teams. I can’t see the few remaining NVA ECNL girls staying after this year. VRSC will be recruiting hard.
Why so down on NVA. Haven’t they only played 1 league game so far?
Just guessing if you were part of 2011 NVA ECNL and are now part of 2011 NVA GA, who is mid table and the only team that lost to Loudoun, you probably want to move to a higher caliber team. Guessing they won’t go to FVU since if they wanted to stay with DB they would have went this year. VRSC will pitch having other former ECNL girls but VDA seems the most likely given how many former NVA ECNL girls went there.
NVA to Union is a step down, not up, from prior performance.

you seem really interested in that club lol. Go check that other thread. Ask your confidants or ping BP directly for practice sessions towards the end of the season. Its worked out for others.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:maybe maybe not. If a certain club goes GA you can bank on a full wash at VDA and/or FVU. All to say dont expect preexisting relationships to get you over to that team. There are different power brokers and dynamics there currently and those can shift the second any of the clubs make an announcement. Imo if you wanted to play ecnl… should have tried out last season.
Keep an ear to the floor. Change is coming
Can you tell us more about the “power brokers”?
