I think if US and Russia come to a peace agreement on Ukraine, Zelensky has little choice but to accept even it requires that he be exiled to one of his many estates outside of Ukraine.
This is news to me. Do you have citations to back up your statement?

Penny wise and pound foolish. Most Americans have no clue what those bases do, and how vital they are to our own national security.
Are they vital to OUR national security? Or to Europe’s? Please, explain to me exactly how these bases are so vital to our national security. Quicker access to the Middle East so we can fight in more regional conflicts and wars with no winners?
Do any European countries have bases in America?

However, France is trying to coordinate an EU perspective. Trump, Putin, and Xi want to carve up the world into power blocs. So, if Trump acquiesces to Russia on Ukraine, what will Russia help the US get? Maybe Greenland.

That's exactly what it is. Republicans have turned their back on the system of alliances that has made the US the preeminent power in the world for the past 80 years. We have spent trillions and trillions to counter Russian aggression. And then Putin made a mistake and invaded Ukraine. For less than 5 percent of the annual Pentagon budget, Ukrainians have largely destroyed Russia's military capabilities. Ukrainian resistance has been a gift to the Western world. And now Republicans are swooping in like the Mafia to destroy Ukraine and reap the spoils of their new alliance with Russia. I am appalled and disgusted with the Republican Party. Ronald Reagan is doing cartwheels in his grave.
Yes we are abandoning our $1.9 trillion trade partners in Europe for Russia’s $391 billion total world wide trade. 110 billion of that Russian trade is with China and 50-60% is oil and gas. What are we doing???

I am increasingly convinced that the Republican Party has been captured by Russia. It's the only thing that makes sense. Absolutely everything Republicans are doing benefits Putin while harming America's core interests.

Didn't the Soviet Union help the US and Europe?
