Even with Mr. Rubio’s announcements that lifesaving efforts could resume, much of the American aid system in Africa remained paralyzed by the confusion and disruptions, including in conflict-hit areas where every day counts.
“When they issue these broad orders, they don’t seem to understand what exactly they are turning off,” said Jeremy Konyndyk, a former senior U.S.A.I.D. official under the Biden administration who is now the president of Refugees International. “They’re pulling levers without knowing what’s on the other end.”

Saw Tha Ker, the camp leader for the Mae La camp, said he was told on Friday by the International Rescue Committee, a group that receives U.S. funding, that it would stop supporting medical care, water and waste management for all of the seven refugee hospitals managed by his camp.
“The first thought that came to my mind was that whoever made this decision has no compassion at all,” said Mr. Tha Ker.
Mr. Tha Ker said he and his staff had to tell 60 patients in one hospital that they had to go home. Videos posted on social media showed men carrying patients on makeshift stretchers through unpaved streets.

For example, I’m empathetic towards all the kids in the classes who go to school every day trying to learn, but can’t, because there are kids screaming and throwing objects and there are a bunch of illegal immigrants there who don’t even speak English. I also have a lot of empathy for those teachers.
I’m very empathetic towards victims of crime. It disgusts me that we as a society have apparently (at least in previous administrations) just accepted that some people will have their lives destroyed or stolen while we give multiple chances to monsters.
I’m empathetic towards the people trying to drive somewhere important but they can’t because liberal geniuses are standing or laying on the road blocking their way to try to prove some political point.
I could go on and on, but the difference between us is not a difference in level of empathy. I just combine my empathy with logic.
You should turn off right-wing propaganda and visit the real world some day. You have been conned.
They haven't been conned, they are saying exactly what they mean. Your ears just aren't tuned to their dog whistles. I'll translate for you:
"I’m empathetic towards all the [white] kids in the classes who go to school every day trying to learn, but can’t, because there are [black] kids screaming and throwing objects and there are a bunch of illegal immigrants there who don’t even speak English. I also have a lot of empathy for those teachers. [as long as they are in an affluent white school district and my thoughts and prayers are all that are required because I sure as hell won't be voting to pay them better or properly fund the schools they work for.]"
"I’m very empathetic towards [white] victims of crime. [whose lives I have no problem destroying over any offense no matter how small or if they even were the ones who committed it and weren't simply the wrong color in the wrong place at the wrong time.]
"I’m empathetic towards the people trying to drive somewhere important but they can’t because liberal geniuses are standing or laying on the road blocking their way to try to prove some political point." [Also I want it to be legal for people to run them over but I'm too much of a coward to say it outright. I definitely get a chub when I read about someone doing it though.]

You've been well-programmed going through life with a chip on your shoulder. No one can do anything about that except you.
Inferring extra content into what has not been said is a problem for you to solve.
You can play coy and "who, me?!" all you want, we know what you really mean. Your language might be coded but your actions are out there for the world to see and they're damning. Barely covered scum is scum regardless.

Maybe all Magas - Trump voters - are not all the same, just as all Democratic voters - liberals - are not all the same.

My biggest detest for GOP is policy v anyone who isn't a white man. But other than that, I can appreciate their perspectives while disagreeing with some of their platforms. I don't automatically label them as monsters for example as the OP has done by suggesting everyone not liberal and Dem has zero empathy.

MAGA are the modern day Spanish Inquisition.
Lots of current "MAGA" voters were 2008 and 2012 Obama voters. Did the GOP all of a sudden brainwash them into believing in boogeymen or did Biden and Democrats just f up?
