No one is denying he receives threats. But that doesn’t meant he is owed government protection forever…because of some twitter idiots. Law enforcement is capable of dealing with threatening emails and twitters. And/or lawyers and private security. Protection was funded while he was actively working for the government and 3 leaves after leaving. That’s more than standard.
Then by your logic Trump wasn't entitled to security from 2020-2024, since he was no longer actively working for the government.
Former presidents get secret service for life. It’s a very rare exception.
