There is certainly a lot of noise here about this announcement. It has touched a nerve which probably means it can be a significant development. If GA was truly “dead” or “in trouble” and all their clubs terrible, no one would give this a second thought. Imagine if EDP made this announcement with MLSN would there be this same reaction?

The US Soccer status was a huge post across platforms and websites. I bet all those clubs that left GA are really regretting it now.

When NWSL teams start having mini ID camps for youth players, will it not exclusively be for GA players?
As has been mentioned several times already in this thread, NWSL isn't the ultimate goal for my daughter unless she ends up at USWNT level in a couple years. ECNL realizes this on the girl's side. There is no clamoring for a pro pathway on the girls side.
