If I had been that young girl I probably wouldn’t have said what happened to me at the party, because I had learned at a VERY young age that my parents were not safe people and would not protect me from harm. My mother, even knowing what had happened to me as a young child, wanted to invite my molester to my wedding because she didn’t want to hurt his wife’s feelings. When I told her as an adult what he done to me, the first words out of her mouth were “Well, he never would have tried that with me!”. Just because someone is parent doesn’t mean they love or care for their child.
All of this. PLUS, you would be going to the police and going up against major industry moguls with a lot of clout. It would be a field day in the press. Maybe the parents didn't want their own dirty laundry coming out or had reason to fear the police. Also, the accused have had people killed. That's a lot. Even if you are a good parent with nothing to hide, you're likely dealing with a hysterical, traumatized child, maybe your first thought isn't to drive her to the police to describe the rape and have her put in stirrups for invasive testing. I can think of a bunch of reasons why something would be true but you wouldn't run to the police, especially with these complicating factors.
