I am only reporting what I am seeing in northern virginia for the past few weeks. It just seems more Asians are voting for Republicans than the Democrats compared to the past elections. We will see if that makes a difference.

The Salem Civic Center has a seating capacity of 6,820. Even allowing for standing room, there was probably not even 10K people there.

This, unfortunately, is true. But they never see it, they didn’t even see it when he said he was going to the Capitol with them and just let them take the fall for him.

I hope they wouldn’t fall for it twice but obviously he assumes there’s more people ready to ruin their lives for him.

NOVA is highly educated and politically savvy. Cao is an absolute clown who believes in witchcraft.

Why would you possibly think NOVA would break for Cao of all people when it has never leaned republican before?

I assumed he was rallying in Virginia bc when he needs a little army to do his dirty work (and then take the fall while he maintains plausible deniability) like on J6, it will be useful to have people who are as close to the capitol as possible.

It’s pretty offensive the way you’re using “Asian” as a monolith. What I was seeing at the Eden Center for lunar new year was a lot of support for Connolly, who is deeply engaged with the community there, and a lot of disdain for Bone Spurs. In no way do I think that reflects the full “Asian” vote of NOVA so it would be interesting to hear what you think does.

Rasmussen is a biased pollster. Doesn’t even have a rating on 538. IF VA were actually in play, both Harris and Trump would be showing up, especially Harris.


If VA goes red this year partially due to the changes in Asian voting preferences (and perceived grievances), that would be a huge and note worthy.
