PVI has the top JV team as well. Riverside is the next best JV team.
Yes PVI won
Who cares about JV! That is a developmental league... its about the kids having fun and learning the game.
Yet, here you are posting. The kids and parents can care about JV just as much as V which by your rules no one should care about either. But, here you are.
To the PP the scores are posted on VEL. From what I understand the PVI team is talented but undersized as they have more 8th grade players than most teams. As a PVI V parent with another possible future PVI player I care. PVI did not field a JV team in the past and the fact they are playing well is very important to the future of the PVI program. In fact, I would dare say it is one of the most important developments of the fall for any school considering they did not field a JV team last Spring.

You are correct every team that has a JV team is developing the team and for most this is their first experience outside of NVYLL. However, when was the last time that Robinson, Madison, Langley, ect or any top HS program did NOT field a JV team. Last season PVI did not have enough kids for JV which would be a concern for the future. There mere fact they could field a JV team is a fall development that I think is important for any program. Look at is this way, if PVI went back to back seasons without a JV team that would be a story.
So a story -- PVI had a roster posted from last year as of just a few weeks ago. Rather than give the version I've heard 1st, which is likely incomplete and 2nd or 3rd hand, you may have the floor initially -- why didn't that roster play?
I may have the floor initially? The JV team did not play last season. New coaching staff as former coaching staff left just before school started. Hard to have a team and no coach. Also yes some teams have an issue fielding a team but the season prior PVI was the #1 team the State. Not too many top teams fail to field a JV team.
And again, there are good teams that are having difficulty fielding a JV team.

Indy over Robo by 2-3
Madison over Yorktown by 5-6
PVI over Battlefield by 10+
Langley over BI by 2-3
This all seems reasonable to me.
Too much on the Madison/ YT game, maybe 2-3
Too much on the PVI game, PVI by 5+
BI will beat Langley
Indy by 1-3
