She isn’t Trump. That’s the first thing. Normal rules just don’t apply to him. Second, Trump hates weakness and she looked very weak and gave an crappy performance. She’s just not prime time material. And thirdly, she wouldn’t be chosen as VP to win over your DH. They have most white men and choosing a woman doesn’t get them many more. The GOP need suburban soccer moms back to win. That’s why she would be chosen.

But she won’t. (Although if she was, what a gift that would be to Dems. And SNL).

Katie wasn’t auditioning for reelection in AL. She was auditioning to become a VP pick who would bring suburban women in swing states (none of which are more Southern than NC) into the fold. (Spoiler alert: to quit none other than the MAGA God himself: Katie Britt, You’re Fired!).

Yeh, we all laughed at Access Hollywood, and look who had the last laugh. All publicity is good publicity. Look how we are all taking about her and not Biden's AWESOME speech. Let's focus on him, not her.

Except they didn’t know how good Biden’s speech was going to be when… whatever that was… was conceived and developed. 5 days ago Dems were setting the bar low a Rs were speculating about whether he could complete a coherent sentence. So no, nothing so banal as that. The men who run her party really think this is what the suburban women swing voters who gave us Biden and Youngkin one year apart want.


I think she overcomes this and is named VP. That overacting will do well on a big stage. She's pretty, young, willing to do whatever it takes.

Wow. That must be nice. Many of us have been raped, care about rape and find her lying about multiple rapes of one woman (for any reason— in this case, the reason was nakedly political) to be unbelievably offensive and gross. But good for you to be able to volunteer for a semester 20 years ago and declare the whole “rape thing” over.
