They don't really have them beyond U15 though. I think they only fielded 2nd teams for U13-U15 and beyond that if there were bubble players they would just double roster on a GA and United team.

The positive thing is that even if each age group loses some top players, it's still only GA and teams will continue to win and have success. Not as harsh as an entrance to ECNL would be.
Based on the standings in the lower age groups I don't think they will be winning easily. They are having more success against ECNL teams in tournaments then they are in their own conference. It will be tougher for them to reach the top of the GA Middle Atlantic than many people think.

FCV does have GA2 teams and older boys teams based in Loudoun. These are the kids and teams that would be most hurt/impacted.
Fairfax would not grant permits to build in western part of county.
What’s a GA2 team?

I know this is all speculation since no official word is out but if FCV stays in Loudoun in lieu of going to Springfield, Evergreen may not be an option as a practice location since VAR will be GA. So the St. James will need to find alternate fields. Possibly Hanson could be an option, but they may not be able to support all of FCV teams four nights a week.
It's been said that Revolution and Hanson will both be out for FCV in Loudoun. The issue of field space is now a thing absolutely for FCV and if you take a look around the area, there isn't anywhere suitable that isn't already being used by other clubs. Another big reason why what has been previously mentioned that FCV will likely downsize to a level where the indoor field can be suitable/merge/or dissolve completely.
What ever happened to St James plans to build new fields in western fairfax county?
