You’ve reminded us to follow our gut, you’ve reminded us to do our best and treat ourselves with kindness so we can be present for our kids, you’ve taught us to cherish our good health and good times. Stay strong, you are doing such an amazing job.
Be sure to write down all release instructions, and (I’m sure you have) but make sure your pediatrician knows the full scenario and gives you an emergency line to call after hours.
OP here-Thank you happy thanksgiving! I think we're likely a good week away from discharge, hopefully as soon as she can fully breathe on her own and had consistently eaten and drank.
I appreciate these it does sound likely that we could hit stumbling blocks over Christmas. Whilst I want to watch out for those I think my next learning action is to strike a balance between keeping her from any slight risks vs letting her be a child again, once she is fit enough to do so.
