The bill was watered down in some significant ways. The second vote has been delayed, possibly until March. Anyone know if there are any limits on what additional changes can be incorporated?

Pinto was loudly hecked from the audience at times by the "activist" crowd. It was a bit of a sh*tshow all around, with McDuffie and others offering amendments that they could not answer basic questions about. JLG was not present in person? And left early? Thought it would be her day to shine?

If they try and a criminal is too strung out or stupid to drive a moped, they’ll be prosecuted for murder.

Stop it. Arrests by MPD have an extremely low, 0.02% chance of resulting in the arresting officer being prosecuted. What if the rest of us refused to do our jobs because there was a 0.02% chance of something going wrong? The whole world would come to a grinding halt.

This is really sad, carjacking victim was murdered.

Broad daylight crimes where there are witnesses nearby were not common in the 90s. Recently, beating, shooting or stabbing cooperative victims seems to be on the rise, a very troubling trend. Witnesses have even been shot at in broad daylight recently.
