Definitely just a few...

The SJC community has been very kind not to share details on DCUM about the way DCSAA was mishandled last year, along with a host of other leadership missteps that occurred last season. Parents are well aware of what happened but have stayed silent out of respect for the coach as a person. Before that changes, the coach might be better served by looking inward, listening to the feedback she is being given, and doing things differently this year.
What needs to be done differently? Maybe they just don’t have the talent? Better recruiting? The boys team seems to do it well.

SJC team last year should've been a championship contending team and yet they underperformed and didn't make it. That is the fault of many, but they deserved better with all of that talent.
Neutral party here. I have to say that this line of criticism sounds like one or two parents disgruntled over playing time. Other than not playing a bench, there has been no other explanation of "coaching" issues. But they should have "taken action" like at Visi? What? After going 7-1 in league...
Didn't go too well for Visi, as they didn't have a coach for the whole recruiting cycle.

Anonymous wrote:i get that everyone wants to write off SSSA, but based on what i see they have basically split each year with SR, beaten Potomac, and split with Visi over the past 2 years. I would not be quick to dismiss them this year. They are by no means the best team in the area but could very well upset any of the top teams.
