Sure, there are red states that show crime.
In what parts of those states is the crime located? Which cities? And what is the dominant political party in charge of the areas the crime is occurring. Look state by state and you’ll get a better picture. It’s blue cities.
Alaska has the highest homicide rate n the USA. What part of Alaska is run by these mythical soft on crime liberals?
That is counting suicides. It’s depressing as fk up there in the winter and men are much more effective at committing suicide than women. Anyway, strip those out and then compare the actual violent crime stats.

More lies. Homicide /= muder.
“ the highest murder rate in the US is Missouri, with a murder rate of 18 murders per 100,000. The third state with the most murders is South Carolina, at 17.4 homicides per 100,000, while Arkansas comes as the fourth state with the highest murder rate, with a rate of 16.1. The fifth and sixth states with the highest murder rates are Tennessee, at 14, and Alaska, at 12.3”
Those damn liberal nutjobs in South Carolina!!
You can’t explain how liberal policies lead to higher crime when California has a lower murder rate than Missouri and Arkansas.
If it were liberal policy at the root then why would San Fran, Boston, NYC etc have lower rates than cities in red states?
Now, go to those states and name the big cities that brings those numbers up.
You cannot compare states without looking at the cities. The cities generally set policy. (Illinois is the only STATE to set no cash bail state wide, for example)
I'll give you a start there....
Missouri - St. Louis
Tennessee - Memphis
South Carolina - Florence
Now, what do these cities have in common???????

On abortion, weed, renewable energy, yes I am with you, but crime? You suck.
You infantalize perpetrators of crime as if they can’t help but commit crime and you excuse crime at every turn. I hope there are enough fed up votes who factor this into their decision. I wish we had a moderate pro-choice, tough on crime candidate who would happily tune out your overwrought, harpy, “social justice” cries for leniency for criminals. You make my city less safe.
Cannabis is legal. Not a crime.
You want to lock me in a cage for consuming a plant? Is that what freedom means to you? Not gonna happen. I am not a criminal.
Can you read, bro? I am pro-weed. And pro abortion. Yes fking legalize that shit. I’m invested in MSOS. On crime you all are weak tho. On violent crime tho, and on theft, you suck. On drugs, who cares. Legalize it all. That’s a non-violent offense.

Japanese here. You know we're famous for being a safe country. There is very little violent crime compared to western countries.
You know why? Because people are severely punished for infractions, and prisons are not made pleasant for prisoners.
No, main reason is the guns. There are very strict gun laws in Japan that make very hard to get a license and own a gun. There are about 180,000 gun licenses in Japan (and most are for hunting). https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2023/05/31/national/crime-legal/gun-control-explainer/
There are more than 400M firearms in the US and in many states any imbecile can get war weapons with little control and even conceal carry.
That might be a compelling argument, were it not for Switzerland, where there is a government-issued, fully automatic machine gun and ammunition in most Swiss households. And the Swiss have about the same level of gun violence as Japan - essentially zero.
So clearly the presence of guns is not the issue.
Keep digging.

Yeah, you’re right.
St. Louis has the highest murder rate.
Except the residents there vote blue.

Again, it’s majority blue cities and voters with these insane murder rates.
And right now progressive criminal justice policies are making them more dangerous because there are no strict consequences. People get away with what they can. No amount of your infantalizing, consequence lowering, restorative justice stuff will change that. It’s pretty simple.
Criminal Justice System is negotiated at the State not city level. It's your Republican policies at work that bring poverty and crime to your cities vs. major cities in Blue states.

Can see you don't live in rural or small town America. It's not an either or thing. White trash meth heads are a scourge in red America.
Tell you what. How about we put both small town AND urban degenerates in prison.
Win-win
