Anonymous wrote:Wegovy, yes. Ozempic, no. Hence why you were denied. Try to push through the Wegovy RX you got.

Wegovy and ozempic are the same drug! Just different brand names

Week after week after week I see posts from people who are just incredulous that someone is using this drug (or trying to use it). It has zero impact on them and they just can't explain their anger towards people "who just won't put in the work without the drugs" (their words, not mine). If you are one of those people who loves to concern yourself and get angry about what other people are doing when it has no impact on your life whatsoever, please seek therapy. You really need it.

Ivim - compounded Semaglutide. It's working for me.

If you want to lose 50, eat less and move more and cut down on carbs. That will do a lot to help your glucose too. You don’t need Ozempic.

Clearly you are not a doctor. Go away. OP asked for insurance advice, not useless "just eat less" advice.

Would you like me to tell you to just do more math problems and that will solve the fact that you fled algebra ? I could sit smugly on the fact that, as a math prodigy, I don't understand why people just don't do this, but I don't, because I am adult and know that being mad people don't do what I wish they would do, or just moralizing to them to do what I wish they would do are both a waste of time.

Not OP. I have been on Wegovy for six months and lost 45 pounds. My pre authorization expired after six months and renewal was denied but I don’t know why. I would like to continue using Wegovy but don’t know where to start the appeal process. Is it something my doctor can do or do I need to do it myself? Anybody was in the same situation and can shed light on why the pre authorization was denied ? Thanks!!

Which foreign utopia are you aware of that tosses around drugs like these for anybody who wants them? We will wait to hear about it in detail.

NP. I’ll list Canada and the Uk for starters where ozempic is about 10 times cheaper than in the US. Do some limited research. Are you a MAGA moron?

People who can’t get Ozempic covered by insurance are buying 2mg pens, even though they use lower doses, so they can get more medication and spend less. I get it, but it sticks for people who actually need that dosage for the intended purpose: diabetes.

Someone literally listed a bunch of places in the area that have it in stock. And the “shortage” ends this week according to the FDA.

Guess what none of those places have it on stock

I posted those locations. All those locations had the medication is stock that day. How do I know this, I'm their drug distributor. If you called and they told you otherwise, they lied, or you're lying now. Actually have a prescription to transfer and it will filled within 10 days any of those locations. And the reason it's taking 10 days is because clearly folks on this board took my advice and hit them up.

I have been to two "real doctors". one prescribed ozempic and the other wegovy. thank you for your concern.

Then just pay for it yourself instead of trying to find a way to lie to insurance company.

I will pay for it but since I payed tens of thousands of dollars to insurance over years why not try to get some benefit from it once in a blue moon?

also, when did I lie to insurance? it is a fact that I am obese and that dieting has made me more obese. my blood work is what it is.

That is not a “fact” in any way whatsoever. Sorry, the laws of science apply to you too.

as i said, i've been dieting for 40 years and i am now 50 pound overweight. unaided dieting does not work for me. it's a fact.

Diets rarely work for anyone. You just need to eat healthy food and move more. Taking a pill is the easy way out.

I’m sure you enjoy telling people with depression that taking a pill is the easy way out as well. They should just get over themselves, walk it off and get a better attitude. It’s really just a moral failing that they are so lazy and rely on a pill. Must be so awesome to be you without any health problems.

The OP has been very clear she doesn’t want to even attempt to do the work. That’s why she has been getting so much flack. That and the attitude about her entitlement to the drugs. The combination is quite something

I think that’s the troll sock puppeting. They ignore all reasonable posts.
