Joe didn't dump her. She left him because he was a depressed man, and apparently very boring. She missed the fire and butterflies she felt with Matty Healy (“my wild boy and this wild joy”), so she ran to him straight out the slammer. Matty did dump her however because he couldn’t deal with her crazy fans and all the PR bs that comes with her.
Yes, she was seeing him behind the scenes all those years. On and off. And writing about him, a lot.
Joe quiet quit. Couldn’t have been that boring and inconsequential since she wrote with him and wrote, at a minimum, invisible string and getaway car about him.
She basically dumped Matty by doing all the PR BS rather than backing him.
Taylor's brand will always come first. Whoever she's with will have to accept that. Travis accepts it (embraces it, even). Matty didn't or couldn't (and to be clear, I'm not saying he should).
Agree with this. That’s why I personally think Travis is a great match for her.
Except he is a doofus, so I don’t see how she stays interested in him. Not convinced she ever was tbh. Both she and MH chose partners that were polar opposites of the other: he went for the cool, edgy, petite, goth chic, and she is dating the burly, goofy bear of a man. At least some of it must’ve been to make each other hurt and jealous. They jumped into these relationships a month or two after breaking up.

This is middle school behavior (both of them). Embarrassing.

As one of the posters doing such things this made me lol for real because I can see how it looks creepy. I just see these 2 as artists and muses for one another so it is interesting to see how and when they tie back to each other.
The insult is sort of funny because we are here strictly for entertainment. I mean it’s the title of this sub? Lol. Relax PPP. It’s actually not fan fiction which is why it is so damn interesting. Taylor put it all out there herself in TDPS. She fully crashed out in that album over a secret decade situationship. No one saw that mess coming. Now so much if her work (and his work too) is actually way more interesting than it was prior to the Matty reveal. I blame Taylor and TikTok. Lol

I guess in that way. But she's got to talk to him (about what?!) every day for the rest of her life. UGH
THIS is what I can not imagine. How she goes from deep conversations with another artist over writing lyrics, favorite musicians, music theory, guitar riffs and piano chords to….football? See the lyrics to Maroon and The Tortured Poets Department both widely accepted to be about Matty. Long nights, deep conversations, lots of red wine and chocolate. Travis has a lot of charisma but let’s face it, he is skin deep, a total dork and not very bright. They have zero in common. Not her intellectual equal. She’s going to lose her mind in boredom if she marries him.

I find him beautiful, smart, and talented. There is a reason why the cool girls in the music and modeling worlds have all wanted him at one point or another.

Anyone familiar with Mattys mom knows that she’s on an attention HO. That was staged.
