She has a public defender instead of one of her family’s 900+ Attorneys
Wow.
Her own father could have defended her (like he did in her 2019 “unlawful undressing” charge) but apparently isn’t. My guess is that they’re trying to liquidate assets that are in her name to pay for one. This is often the case that someone initially has a public defender until they can get liquidity solved. I know her parents. They’re huge Aholes//snobs. I would be shocked if any lawyer in RVA agreed to take her case.
She already waived Miranda rights when she was arrested and admitted to sending the kiddie videos. The charging documents are way more explicit than the article. There is a mountain of evidence. I cannot imagine any jury finding her guilty. Her best bet is to plea. Either way I hope she NEVER gets out of jail.

So, not just the adultery but the exhibitionism, chance of violating the boundaries or inadvertent onlookers, chance of being arrested, etc. Paraphilias tend to occur in clusters. The risks have to escalate to get the dopamine hit. Also not surprised her husband filed for divorce after that stunt but she was off the rails even then.
Wishing healing for her kids, her victims and other csa and sa survivors.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Horrific. She needs to be locked up and throw away the key forever. Why on earth we EVER let these people out of jail I have no idea. They are deviants and won’t “get better” with counseling that is a joke. Why doesn’t anyone protect our kids??!?!?
She was not let out of jail.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:This was interesting, in light of the fact her family tries to cover things up:
There, the court records repeatedly list her name as Eleanor Hunter Hoppe.
How can this not be in the news anywhere else.
I think it's pretty common to refer to someone by their first, maiden and marital names (even or maybe especially if she's divorced, unless she dropped the exe's name).
But this really is horrific.

DCUM lawyers, what do all these cases dated 3/23 mean?
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:People like her eventually end up being killed in prison anyhow because even criminals have "standards" when it comes to crimes committed. You touch a child, you're good as dead in there.
Not sure the part about being killed in prison is so true in women's prisons. But she would probably be alone in there.
That's the second time someone has posted that in this thread. My coworker was caught by an undercover FBI sting very similar to this, with an alleged dad with a 10yo girl (I think it was 10; it has been a while since I read the complaint). He did not go to the meetup but they had him under surveillance and got him on the child porn he'd sent to the undercover agent, some of which involved children as young as 4. He was sentenced to 5 years and got out in less than that. He wasn't killed in prison.

I think that while most victims of abuse do not go on to abuse, the majority of people who DO abuse, had been abused themselves.
Which is no excuse, but as a PP said, some they flip the role of abuser/abused.
If you look at her comments to the UC, she talks as if the girl will like it, be excited by it. There are no comments of enjoying any force or pain, or anything against the girls' will. It's this fantasy that the girl's world will open up sexually, and she (the woman) will be there to witness it, which is arousing to her.
It's so sick. She's loving the father-daughter dynamic, so...if I were her dad, I'd be worried now as it casts implications on him
Totally agree with this. Also the fact that Richmond Times Dispatch STILL does not have a single mention of this story is so disturbing.
Why do people keep harping on the lack of press when there’s literally a Times-Dispatch article linked in the OP? Also here https://dailyprogress.com/news/local/charlottesville-mother-arrested-on-child-porn-attempted-exploitation-charges/article_eb01979a-d3f0-11ed-8516-6749777298d4.html
And here https://augustafreepress.com/news/charlottesville-woman-mother-of-two-arrested-on-child-porn-child-sex-charges/
It’s a link to an article in the Charlottesville paper. RTD is different and is definitely sleeping on it. Someone is protecting Eppa.

It is where she belongs. I hope her two beautiful girls, whom I know well, get all the help, love, and support that they need, fo the rest of their lives. They will need it. I hope that Eleanor never has anything to do with her children again. Never. This is so beyond tragic. My heart bleeds for these girls and their friends. They are brilliant, talented, and just generally lovely kids. Oh God, this hurts.
How about for that poor child she lured to the hotel with her dad, who likely does not have access to the vast resources that her children do.
There was no child; it was an FBI sting.
Not that there couldn't have been other children prior to this.
There was a child in the abuse material she distributed. I hope they can track down who she got it from, who made it, and they all get fried too.
