And I should add, do everything you can to keep them healthy. I have seen one too many girls sidelined by an injury in middle school playing intense sports (not just lacrosse).

"Coach had a great season with the talent she had" -- nothing like throwing the kids under the bus. Unreal. The FACT is that team was much more competitive relative to peers last spring than they were this spring -- pointing to "talent" of 11-year-olds as the issue is not only appalling on principle, it is totally disingenuous.

Says a lot about the power of , this type of behavior never works, lets see how these girls play when they get to HS. The coach did not quit, don't believe the lies and deep pockets who think they can fund athletic success. Everyone knew HS varsity took precedence for Spring, said coach had a great season with the talent she had...the ring leader could not buy what they link they think is development and success in 5th grade is...

No, NL players left those programs because they were promised high level coaching and player development. Instead, they got a lot of gaslighting and avoidance from the high level coaches. BLC players are going back to BLC.

Hilarious - MCE mocking the 2030s for going to a club with no track record. Isn't no track record better than a really bad track record?

Reminds me of a parent meeting we had discussing the same issues 5 years ago....really truly feel bad for the people who are still there....I know people say Pride has issue but lots of former MC girls there as well as Next Level....I also hear great things about the Stars program for the future.

My daughter is on the 30/31 combo team and we are staying. She is also a soccer player, and her sister plays for Bethesda Soccer on an ECNL team. Every elite club has its up and downs and they all cost the same $ (soccer is way more than lax). MCE practice fields/location are A+, we chose the club b/c of the coaching experience and success of all the coaches, the tough losses are not a reason for us to leave, she is so happy after practices.
