Has romance and time travel.

I loved this movie so much when I was younger. But I watched it recently and it gave me an icky feeling - I hadn't remembered how much Richard Collier badgered Elise McKenna; he basically harassed her when she kept saying no. So it's not the same for me anymore.

To be fair, she did approach him and request that he travel back in time to be with her, so…

Exactly. If someone asks you to time travel, then you're going to be persistent.

Until the End of the World by Wim Wenders - predicted our future quite well. Great soundtrack too. It's a long movie, be forewarned. Worth the watch though.

Loved this and amazing soundtrack

It's filmed at The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan. They used to show the film there for guests when I was growing up.

The Mercy, based on the book The Strange Last Voyage of Donald Crowhurst. If you like tragedy adventures like Into Thin Air, etc you will like this

“A Night To Remember”

1950s film about the Titanic disaster— does not have the romanticism of Titanic.

Thanks, watching now! I had forgotten the stacked cast, with Andy Garcia, Campbell Scott, and a very weird cameo by Robin Williams.
