But he did say no peanut butter, so why was peanut butter in it? Why isn't anyone talking about that? The girl who did the interview is not 100% sure if peanut butter was added or if there was cross contamination. So, obviously someone made a mistake and shouldn't the smoothie place be responsible for this? His teen could have died.
And to people who think the kids went through trauma because of this incident, you need a thicker hide then. The girls defended themselves quite well and they did not experience trauma.

Why did he go to a smoothie shop where they blend smoothies with peanut butter at all? They didn't have to "put peanut butter" in his kid's smoothie. They could have blended a smoothie with peanut butter three weeks ago and the microns of peanut butter left on the blender caused an allergic reaction if his kid has severe allergies. I bet he knows nothing about how to protect this child and knows nothing about allergy protocols. He's totally foolish bringing home a smoothie from a shop that uses peanut butter at all. No one poisoned his kid. He did it.

I used to work at Merrill and there are a lot of senior employees with similar, awful demeanors. They tend to drive away the nice/sane employees so you end up with a lot of bad eggs
