Maybe. But I thought he was found all tucked into his bed, which sounds like he was put there.

It’s possible his family didn’t want his reputation tarnished so the truth won’t come out. He’s famous enough to have had an agent and PR team. They are adept at cleaning up such messes.


Plus the Ritz Carlton caters to the rich and famous and does not want to be known as the hotel where a guest was murdered in an expensive suite even if it was the case.


Meh, Marriott hotels always had massive security problems. Someone targeted him because they wanted to rob him. They wanted him unconcious so they gave a blow to his head. He died. They did not think that he would die or maybe they did not care.

It’s a bad idea to take heavy sleeping meds when you are alone, because this is exactly what can happen.

To be consistent with the autopsy, it's more like he got up to use the bathroom and beat himself senseless over the head with a baseball bat, then went back to bed.

That’s BS. Plenty of people take sleep meds and live alone.

I have taken prescribed Klonopin in my life and nothing remotely like this has ever happened—nor would it at a therapeutic dose. I just flat-out do not believe that this was something other than a homicide.

And if he has been on this prescription regimen for any amount of time, his reaction to the medication would have been lessened by a developed natural tolerance.

My neighbor died in a similar way. He took some sort of fall and put himself to bed. By the time I let myself and the police in the next morning (at his family’s request), he was able to wake up and even sort of respond. He died a week later of a brain bleed.

Essentially it was 12 hours from 4AM until 4PM that day when the hotel security found him 'cold to the touch'. Plenty of time for a perp to get in and out.

He wasn't discovered until late in the afternoon the next day by hotel staff and security. 4PM is when the sheriff arrived. He was supposed to checked out by noon that same day. His last set on stage ended at 3AM. There is no footage or note that no one else entered/exited the room - so the perp could have stayed for hours and then left the next morning once they were sure.

I don’t think you can walk around for hours with multiple broken skull fractures so it could have not been hours later. That just seems so odd.
