He reminds me of Sam Smith so much that I’m expecting him to open every School Board meeting now with a performance of “Unholy.”
Everyone around Blake Lane made abundantly clear they didn’t want the school.
You are a liar, just like Karl.
^Every accusation is a confession.
Is that what you told Pekarsky and Omeish when their text messages basically calling you dishonest were produced during the TJ litigation, Karl?
You are downright OBSESSED with him. Good thing he got the no gun zone ordinance passed administrative buildings.
No. You just don’t like it when your lies and half-truths are called out.

People have posted some compelling reasons why Dunn Loring ES is a big waste of money, to which Karl and his friends invariably respond with half-truths at best. If that's what you value in your candidates, go for it.

This was all going on before Karl got on the board. Everyone in the community was and still is opposed to building a school there. There were FCPS meetings in 2019 (before Karl was on the board) where there were 150+ people in opposition to the project.
There is no verification that the signers of that petition weren’t repeat signatories or residents of the Fairfax/Oakton area. And the stated reasons for objecting to the Blake Lane site clearly included saving the dog park, which really isn’t something that should drive a School Board decision.
But, anyway, stop diverting, you clown. The issue ultimately isn’t whether a school should have been built at that site; it’s whether there was any compelling reason - which there is not - to then turn around and waste $60M of our money at Dunn Loring, where there is no need for a new school there. It is surrounded by at least four other under-enrolled schools.
If the school had been built at Blake Lane, you people would be crying about “KARL FRISCH DESTROYED A DOG PARK!!!”
The fact is the vast majority of that community did not want a school at that site. I don’t know why someone outside that neighborhood would have any interest in signing that petition, but if the petition alone doesn’t tell you enough, go rewatch the meetings from 2018-19 where there were literally hundreds of people speaking against the project and very few in favor. Just google “save Blake lane” and you’ll see all the media coverage
Elected officials are supposed to listen to the views of their community and the overwhelming majority of the community was opposed.

Anonymous wrote:Karl needs to fix his folly at Dunn Loring. Fairfax/Oakton needs the money intended for it back. The county is considering plans to allow 1200 housing units at the AT&T site at Jermantown and Chain Bridge and more housing where the office buildings are on Rosehaven/Arrowhead between Jermantown and 123 near Oak Marr Rec Center. Fairfax City also has proposed apartments and townhouse on Eagan near Chain Bridge.
