Original asking price $3.295. Sale price $2.75. Developer lost over a half million dollars bungling this deal. It's obvious they are new to the development world, although being a developer and agent combo they should know better. Houses in CCDC sell fast and often over ask. Something is wrong when they fall out of contract and take three months to finally sell.

Agree. It's lovely. Shame about the street parking issue. Maybe they can build a driveway.


Its a gorgeous house.

People get so hung up about the street parking on DCUM! I live in the neighborhood and everyone I know even with a driveway or garage just parks on the street. So perhaps it was a neighbor who bought it and doesn't care.

I hope for the new owners sake those two story rear windows don't leak like a sieve in the next serious rain storm. Poorly installed windows like that have the potential to cause a lifetime of expensive problems and headaches.

I actually went inside. It is very pretty, so much light. I don’t know how the huge windows in the back in IRL would work, you’d have to put some sort of electronic shade? Not sure.

There were some corners cut, like not a real waterfall counter in the kitchen, but it is has major wow factor. Parties would be awesome. Back yard nice, but the other houses aren’t that far away.

Neighbors aren't judgmental. They just refused to let the developer ruin the green space in their neighborhood.
Anyone in their shoes would have done the exact same thing.
