DC Government is buying the lower school campus as a new DCPS building.

I am not sure how it makes sense for DCPS to have another non-centrally located school in Ward 3, but it is good news for GDS to have the asset off their hands.

Your facts are all wrong here. While there are local residents opposed to the plan, they weren't ultimately responsible for GDS's about turn. What might that be and is it applicable to the school currently?
