Maybe he wants the trial, to be a show and reflect the anger everyone has about this case. Would certainly be if he’s acquitted.

Citizens aren't going to turn in carjackers. The carjackers are released to the neighborhood to get even with the snitches.

He allegedly previously or currently had a tech job in Hawaii, so not an abnormal place for him to go and lay low. Seems like he planned the shooting better than what he’d do after.

I thought that, because I still don’t think he could have acted alone. How did he know the CEO was going to set up early? Be alone? Go through that door? How many hotel doors are there? He could have flown the day it happened before his partial photo was everywhere.

A young man randomly hanging out in the middle of nowhere PA makes you look extremely suspicious. Dead-end rust belt towns are all townies and elderly people.
