Can you give us some insight on your life and why you hold such beliefs? You do understand what prohibition laws mean for a country? Do you envision another Saudi Arabia?
Not that PP but you need to take a good hard look at yourself if banning tobacco, alcohol and pot will have such an effect on your life

+1 [Maybe your opinion isn't in the strong minority]
And, along the same lines, the whole Lewinsky episode told me loud and clear that liberals/Democrats aren't really serious about sexual harassment and bad treatment of women in the workplace when the offender is someone who has the right politics. Perhaps I was naive at the time, but I was (and still am) very, very disappointed.
In the meantime, I learned that the best predictor of a man's tendency to treat women in the workplace with respect is not his politics--it's the type of woman he chooses as a wife. Men with strong, smart wives have (in my experience) been the most fair. The tendency is even stronger when these men have daughters.

They bring the girls into their homes as part of a cultural exchange and then treat them like nannies/maids. There is no attempt to integrate the Au Pair into the family.
Lol. They are there to take care of kids and do light housework. What would you have them do? It's kind of the point.
It is supposed to be a cultural exchange, not a way to hire a nanny without paying minimum wage. They should not be doing any more child care than you would expect from your own daughter to provide to siblings.
From au pair in America :
Au pairs can work a maximum of 10 hours a day and 45 hours per week.
The au pair is entitled to one and a half days off each week, which means that if her hours are spread over 6 days, one of those work days cannot exceed 5 hours of work.
Au pairs get a full week-end off every month, from Friday night to Monday morning.
Any hours that an au pair has responsibility for the children, even if she is sleeping, are considered work hours.
An au pair is just another teenager/ young adult for the family to take care of. They do very little.
That's a little more than my kid would be expected to do.

So poster 1 laughs at people who use below an iPhone 5
Poster 2 laughs at people who are too wrapped up in technology
You make an inane comment.
I laugh internally and externally at you.
