Yes, why didn't the marketing guy address this?

To the PPs asking about the Coach of the Year - went to Sean Burke.
Btw- last spring he was named Coach of the Year by WaPo, for the third time so seems to be widely celebrated for his commitment to his players as well as his success.
Sean is one of the bright spots for Valor. Excellent coach who develops players.
Also, not a Valor Marketing guy but a parent who has experienced Sean.

They will stay ECNL-RL as a standalone club. They don't have the foresight to have planned another alliance even though they apparently knew this was coming. If they were smart they would have fought to keep the ECNL badge that Loudoun/NVA dropped and tried to form an alliance with another club(s).
Do you think Valor knew? I am not convinced. NVA was reaching out to Valor as recently as late January about internal ID sessions for pre-ECNL players from both clubs. I heard one session got abruptly canceled. Not sure if it was canceled for everyone or just a certain gender or age group. NVA may very well have kept this to themselves only to leave Valor high and dry.
This club is becoming an embarrassment. We were sold on the Pre-ECNL due to the alliance with NVA and now that is gone. Where is the accountability from leadership? We have one kid on the boys and one on the girls. Cory, Paul and Craig should be talking to each team about their plans for the boys and girls side. Being transparent is the best policy and it starts with communication. Have any of the Pre-ECNL coaches addressed this their teams. Ours haven’t.
Not a word for from our pre-ecnl coach. This is total bs. For the amount of loyalty almost everyone on the team has had to this club it's a slap in the face.
Loyalty to a travel soccer club only ends in disappointment.
