+1. I don’t think they’ve directly address a single substantive policy question/issue. Just keep deflecting to irrelevant nonsense.

Parents have had enough
I agree parents have had enough, but it’s not all about CRR and trans issues. Democrats closed schools for an entire year. People living in Virginia looked around at republican run states and saw their kids in school. With COVID not over and threats of new variants constantly talked about, no way do parents want another Democrat in charge.

Voucher money can go directly to kids already in private schools - just like it did in Indiana.
We don't hate public schools here. We're mad right now. But we don't hate public schools and we don't want to destroy them. We don't want vouchers.
That’s unfortunate since Glenn Youngkin specifically campaigned on school vouchers.
DP and I sure as hell want vouchers. I don’t think they destroy schools and I do think school choice is at least a step in the right direction. I’m a former IB public school teacher and I’d never want my kids going where I used to teach.

Our area schools brought kids back in to the buildings around the same time as many other schools.
5-11 can get vaccinated within days.
Totally irrational decision making.

But, jesus, REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS LIKE A YEAR AGO??? How can you not get out and vote, or worse, choose Youngkin? He's terrible for VA, for democracy and for the country. Thanks, Virginia - whether intentionally or through negelct, you've collectively given a monster a national platform. Sigh.
People calling Youngkin a monster and engaging in hysteria over a republican winning are part of the problem. No one is going to take Democrats seriously if they're constantly screaming about how every single Republican voter or candidate is a traitor or racist or anti-woman.
Yes the racist ticket that elected the first Black American woman Winsome Sears for Lieutenant Governor and Jason Miyares an Cuban Immigrant as Attorney General.
Miyares isn’t an immigrant.
He was conceived in Cuba and travelled to the US as a fetus.

A year ago a stock market was soaring, gas was less than $2.00. No killed soldiers in Afghanistan. Good times.
Stock market still soaring.
The Dow is irrelevant...

And soldiers were dying in Afghanistan last year too. It is true that for a little while gas was under $2.

Of what, exactly?
My dc goes to school with kids from all different backgrounds. There is a transgendered kiddo in dc's class, too. The goal for the community (it is a public school) is for *each kid* to feel supported, loved and celebrated.
Between this election and the screamers in Loudon County, I'd never, ever live in Va. It seems impossible there to get past the bumper stickers and just see people as neighbors with whom you can work together to support each kid.
Of the progressive left agenda to indoctrinate and brainwash our kids. To teach them to hate themselves for being white or straight. Can the violins about “kindness.” You know exactly what I’m talking about.
