So 2 Arlington 2011s can't make one the strongest academy 2011 roster in the country and went across the country to find a place they could get in

How's that a bad reflection on DC?
They should make their 2011s roster 45 kids?

Did DCU develop a style of play that is replicated through the academy or do we just have the fastest and strong 2011’s?

Asking for a friend.

So fast and strong they had the highest Quality of Play attacking ranking at U14

They picked up the ball and ran with it in rugby scrum style, knocking opponents over

Is your kid slow, weak and lacking skills why you're asking?

I don’t think that’s the style of play that develops players at U14 for long term success.

Obviously PP was being cynical about rugby scrums

Not hard to believe when several DC 2011s went further than 3rd round

Every academy needs and wants who they want that fits their criteria for the future, not just the now.

Definitely not kick and run style. Every team wants strong players. They are not just recruiting fast and big ones.

Don't mention that a strong NYRB player came to DC and staying with host family

It messes with the head of the obsessed DC Hater and spoils his narrative

Poor pitiful thing

Academy teams are always trialing kids, DC is no exception.

Every position is up for competition, all the time. Unfortunately, kids get cut every year.

Do we have any pride left when Philly is plucking talent out of our backyard?

Most of the RU kids go off to other academies. I think there were two this year and some to Philly, Colorado and Charlotte. I think the RU org is closest to Charlotte which is a shame. Richmond should be the Sacramento to the Bay Area.
