I’d love to hear from any legacy FCV families how their experience this season was similar to and different from their time at FCV, good and bad.

Same shit. Different club.

A month ago. Top teams are already rostered. Maybe a second team is open still unless you've you a u9 player.

Aside from the 2009s, 2013s appear to be VRSC’s best girls team, although they’ve mostly played against mediocre teams in EDP and NCSL. It will be interesting to see what they can do with a higher level of competitiveness in GA with MJ as their coach. Doesn’t sound like the roster will change much from the current squad.

Yes they have and for at least two age groups it is a majority new players with most of the first team players next year now on second team.

There are scholarships for players who qualify for them. None of the top players are comped just because they are good players.

Some aren’t hide the true income from their business to get comped the fees. This is loco after all. Nobody I’ve seen making less than $150k household income. Do they qualify? Clearly certain favorite players being comped fees even when they can afford it. It’s ok if you look the other way when they are better players.

Every club discounts to a varying degree for the very top players within an age group. Simple recruiting.

Incredible insight into every clubs player compensation allowances, how did you do this discovery or is this another WAG?

I think they are all rostered or close to it. No, they are not all largely VRSC players, there is a mix of VRSC and new players.

I can't speak for GA directly since I don't have a girl but from what I have heard the FCV girls that came over the parents are driving it some. But on the boys side that is NOT the case at all. With the new MLS Next 2 tryouts things have been shaken up and there in no way was any parent input at all. Parents tried but the coaches and directors took a firm stance with the choices they made.

What does it mean that parents are driving it? Like making roster decisions? Picking practice times? I don't get it.

Rosters,captaincy,starters,positions, tournaments,hotels..everything.. lol

Yes, who is on the roster, starters, etc.

I call BS. My DD is on a GA team and parents are definitely not picking the roster or tournaments. What is your basis for knowing this? Because you think your kid should be starting so you say parents are preventing it?

Salty former VRSC parents whose kid got bumped from the top team when the FCV kids came in. Which they prolly should have known since they were on the end of 0-6, 0-8, 0-10 losses to FCV.
